Creta Maris Resort is located in Hersonissos, in the outskirts of Heraklion in Crete. It is a beach complex consisting of rooms and bungalows, leisure areas as well as conference facilities, spa facilities, many choices of different a la carte restaurants, children's playgrounds and a water park, being a fully serviced seaside family destination.

The study included a new masterplan of the complex and the renovation of all common areas. The main design challenge was to introduce in all spaces a single design vocabulary, based on elements from Cretan tradition and history, incorporating at the same time elements of modern aesthetics, which will render the relaxed atmosphere of a resort.

Authenticity, history, diversity, timelessness, technology, comfort, charm, Cretan hospitality, Cretan food, were the key words that inspired the design concept.
